  4. -Jupiter can fit all the other planets inside of Jupiter; it would take 1300 Earths to fill up Jupiter.

  5. 3. The tallest volcano humans know is located on Mars
  6. -Olympus Mons is about 16 miles tall, which is equivalent to about 3 Mount Everests.

  7. 4. Sunlight Takes About 8 Minutes to Reach Earth
  8. -Earth is located about 93 miles away from the Sun. Traveling at the speed of light, 186,282 miles per second, sunlight is able to reach the Earth in around 8 minutes 20 seconds.

  9. 5. Mercury is not the Hottest Planet in the Solar System
  10. -Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun, but not the hottest. Venus, the second planet to the Sun, has a really thick atmosphere, which is 100 times thicker than the atmosphere on Earth. When sunlight passes through Venus's atmosphere it causes the surface of Venus to heat up dramatically.

  12. -A torus-shaped, containing asteroids and minor planets, between Mars and Jupiter

  14. -Neptune has the fastest winds at 1,600mph.

  16. -Uranus's axis is tilted by almost 98 degrees. It looks Uranus is rotating on its side.

  18. -Pluto's diameter is smaller than the width of the mainland of the US.

  20. -The solar system is 4.6 billion years old. It was formed from a cloud of gas and dust called the solar nebula.
