- -Jupiter can fit all the other planets inside of Jupiter; it would take 1300 Earths to fill up Jupiter.

- 3. The tallest volcano humans know is located on Mars
- -Olympus Mons is about 16 miles tall, which is equivalent to about 3 Mount Everests.

- 4. Sunlight Takes About 8 Minutes to Reach Earth
- -Earth is located about 93 miles away from the Sun. Traveling at the speed of light, 186,282 miles per second, sunlight is able to reach the Earth in around 8 minutes 20 seconds.

- 5. Mercury is not the Hottest Planet in the Solar System
- -Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun, but not the hottest. Venus, the second planet to the Sun, has a really thick atmosphere, which is 100 times thicker than the atmosphere on Earth. When sunlight passes through Venus's atmosphere it causes the surface of Venus to heat up dramatically.
